Money has a sacramental nature. When your giving comes from a generous and caring heart, we transform the material object to possess and convey spiritual value.
That is, money possesses and conveys spiritual value because of you; because something of your very self is offered with it–— your work, precious energy, mind, intelligence, dreams, and your longings. In this way, money becomes a spiritual matter, and its use becomes a statement of faith.
We believe God is the source of life, our will, gifts, and talents. We act out that belief in the ways we use God’s gifts: when we offer it to some good cause, to someone in need. When we use our gifts and our money in this way, they convey God’s grace, and become sacramental.

Altar Flowers
You can designate your gift In Honor, or In Memory of a loved one.
In addition to money, you may choose to give altar flowers and displays. Cost for flowers on Sunday is $60. Please make your check payable to Park Avenue UMC, with “Flowers” in the memo.

Planned Giving and Direct Debit
Planned Giving allows you to pledge to make a gift in the future to the work of the church. Such giving includes PARs, bequests, gift annuities, and life insurance.
Pre-Authorized Remittance or PAR is a "direct debit" program. It enables you to support our work and ministries through an automatic monthly transfer from your bank account.
Our business manager administers the program through our bank in accordance with your instructions and wishes.
