Welcome to our web ministry and community.
Park Avenue United Methodist Church has been a place of prayer, worship, praise, and celebration, serving this neighborhood and city since 1837. We pray that you visit-experience at our website will be both refreshing and restorative.
Our doors remain open throughout the week for you to visit and prayer; to find solace; to have a quiet refuge from the city’s hustle and life’s challenges.
We pray that you find God's presence, direction, and wholeness for your life whether you visit us during the week or come to a Sunday worship service.
Our pastors too are available to you; by phone or when your visit; through email and prayer requests (forms on this site will make it easy for you to do both).
The Gothic Cross at the center of our altar is a unique identifier of Park Avenue’s focus. At the intersection of its cross bars are the Chi-Rho, Greek alphabet symbols that represent the first letters of Christ's name. May you find Christ at the center for your life as you pray, meditate and worship with us.
